Service advisor

 

We are currently seeking people with a Service Advisor, Automotive Parts Interpreter or qualified Automotive Technician background with experience in a mechanical workshop environment.

This position would suit a senior automotive technician wanting to step off tools but still use their years of valuable experience.

-We are looking for a motivated person to join our small specialist team and assist our objective to consistently deliver the highest level of customer service.

In order to do this, you will need strong organisational and communications skills and have the ability to work in a team environment.

This role is primarily 8am-5pm Monday to Friday Qualifications & experience

• Prior experience as an automotive service advisor or similar role (preferred not essential)

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to accurately estimate repairs

• Experience or ability to become proficient with automotive service software.

• Ability to work well in a small team environment

• Strong organisational and time-management skills Key responsibilities Your day-to-day duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Greeting and booking in customers

• Assist in quoting of mechanical jobs and sourcing of parts • Organising customer parts and stock orders

• Forward planning

• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
